Free Pre-Harvard and Berkeley Workshop
On Saturday, February 11, SWSDI will be hosting a free workshop to help students to prepare for the Harvard and Berkeley invitationals as well as for the rest of the speech and debate season. It will feature lessons and activities taught by coaches from various schools designed to give students the extra edge to finish the season strong.

There will be lessons that are applicable to all speech and debate events. The workshop is open to all Arizona speech and debate competitors, of any skill level, regardless of whether they are competing at Harvard/Berkeley. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this unique, free opportunity!

Please register by sending an email to info@southwestdebateinstitute.org with the subject “Register for workshop” and containing your name, grade, and the event(s) you do. Advance registration is not mandatory but is recommended in order to secure your spot in case the space limit is exceeded.
• Coaches are welcome to attend as well.
• Attendees are welcome to attend for only part of the time.

The Barrett campus is located at the northwest corner of Rural Rd. and Apache Blvd. in Tempe. You can park in the south side of the garage on the northwest corner of Rural Rd. and Lemon St., which is free on weekends. From there, walk south to Honors Hall in the Barrett complex (“HONHAL” on map). Signs will direct you to the workshop.
